Elsewhere on this "Revelation 13" web site I have discussed what I call "New Age Geography" , that there is a pattern to the shapes of countries in the world. Also I have discussed patterns of geographic coordinates of events in the world. Here I will discuss the world population and country populations, for year 2000 (when the new millenium began), and relate this to Biblical prophecy, including the Book of Revelation. I believe it is not accidental that the world population reached 6 billion in October 1999, just before the millennium began on Jan. 1, 2000.
I would relate this to the number of the Antichrist in the Book of Revelation, 666. It could be that the Antichrist began his rise to power as the new millennium began in year 2000, the Antichrist may be Russia's President Putin , who first became Russian President as the new millennium began on 1/1/2000. It could also be that the 7 year "End Times" period that sees the rise of the Antichrist began in November 2003, and ends in November 2010 with the battle of Armageddon, caused by Muslim countries (especially Iran and Al Qaeda) getting nuclear weapons, and also North Korea and Red China, and even Russia. I think country populations from year 2000 should be considered here, since this is when the new millennium began.
COUNTRY POPULATIONS:
Considering some major country populations, will we consider them for May-11-2000, when the population of India reached 1 billion. Note that this was near the time of the May-5-2000 alignment of planets, and on May-7-2000 Russian President Putin was inaugurated.
Here we will relate these country populations to Book of Revelation Bible passages. The assumption here is that the 7 year End Times period described in the Book of Revelation began as the new millennium began with year 2000. Revelation passages are from the King James Version Bible. I will as necessary move decimal points, when connecting country populations to Revelation passages.
China-- 1.26 billion-- Revelation 12:3 "And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon..." 12:7 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon"
Interpretation: the red dragon is Red China, and also means Satan himself. This implies we will see an angry and dangerous Red China, making threats against Taiwan and the West. Red China's alliance with Russia will give Russia additional military power.
Japan-- 127 million-- Revelation 12:7 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon"
Interpretation: I would consider this to be a historical reference, referring to Japan's past as the dragon in World War 2, not referring to the peaceful country Japan is today. Note that Japan is sort of in the shape of a dragon or serpent. But today Red China and North Korea is the dragon, but during World War 2 Japan was. Also, the dragon is Muslim Terrorism, Al Qaeda, and Iran.
Russia-- 146 million-- Revelation 14:6 "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people," 14:8 "And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen" 14:9 "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image and receive his mark in his forehead..."
Interpretation: The Beast is the Antichrist, implying he will rise to power in Russia. The mark of the beast is some kind of electronic tracking system the Antichrist will use in Russia to get the economy under control there, either an identification card, or people may be injected with microchips to track them. And in April 2006 Russia's population was 142 million, relate the last two digits 42 to Revelation 13, where the Antichrist is given power for 42 months.
Iraq-- 22 million-- Revelation 2:2 "...thou canst not bear them which are evil..."
Interpretation: "them which are evil" would be referring to Iraq, which was ruled by the most evil of all dictators, Saddam Hussein. Remember the 900 oil well fires set off by Saddam? That is what I mean by evil.
United Kingdom, France -- both are 59 million -- Revelation 5:9 "thou...hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation".
Interpretation: both England and France suffered terribly from World War 1 and World War 2, and both are religious Christian nations who spread Christianity to the world through their former colonial empires. Both have been major forces for good in the world.
United States-- 276 million -- Revelation 2:7 "...To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God."
Interpretation: Indicates the U. S.'s role as a force for good in the world, during this century. The U.S. reached 300 million population (official population according to U.S. Census Bureau) in October 2006, that could be an important milestone for the U.S., and may relate to the number 3 and the Holy Trinity (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost), and the U.S.'s role as defender of the Western World and Israel from the Muslim terrorist dragon. Perhaps the "3" in 300 million relates to the famous Nostradamus "aquatic triplicity" quatrain 1-50, about a hero appearing in the U.S., see this page.
WORLD POPULATION:
Doing the same thing with world population, converting to Revelation passages:
1900-- 1.6 billion-- Revelation 16:14 "For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty."
Interpretation: World War I, the greatest war ever at that time, began in 1914.
Oct. 12 1999-- 6 billion-- Revelation 6:2 "behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer"
Interpretation: The four horsemen of the Apocalypse started to ride with year 2000 and the population reaching 6 billion, the first on a white horse being the Antichrist. This would mean the appearance of the Antichrist in year 2000, I believe he is Russia's President Putin.
2004 - 6.4 billion-- in October 2004. Revelation 6:4, the second horseman on a red horse, War, started to ride, in Muslim terrorism. This could indicate increased wars in 2008-2010, due to Muslim terrorism, North Korea, and possibly Red China. The scariest possibility is that these Muslim terrorists could get ahold of Pakistan's nuclear weapons. Or a change in government in Pakistan brings the Muslim radicals to power there. Or Iran may have the ABomb soon.
April 1, 2008. Approximate date the world population reaches 6.66 billion, which could be a significant date for the world, since 666 is the number of the Antichrist. Could this relate to the Antichrist Putin gaining dictatorial power in Russia?
Also, country populations may be prophetic for year 2008-2010. The U.S. officially reached 300 million in October 2006, the number 3 being associated with the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. This means that the Holy Ghost will protect the U.S. and Israel during the disastrous events of war and disease in 2008-2010. North Korea reached 23 million population in 2007, this may relate to North Korea's role in Armageddon; note that corresponding to 23 is Psalm 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...", indicating North Korea may develop nuclear weapons and launch them. Iran reached 68 million in 2005; this may relate to Revelation 6:8 about the Fourth Horseman Death, and war, possibly coming out of Iran, with Iran developing nuclear weapons and missles and attempting to launch them against the U.S. and Israel. And Pakistan at 163-169 million during 2006-2007 may relate to Revelation 16 about Armageddon and disease, and Pakistan's role in it as developer of the Islamic Bomb. POPULATION OF RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD:
Approximate 2006 populations of some world religions:
Christianity: 2.1 billion
Interpretation: Corresponds to Revelation 21: about the new heaven and new earth, and the New Jerusalem.
Islam: 1.2 billion
Interpretation: Corresponds to Revelation 12, where a woman in heaven sees a red dragon, that attacks the woman. The woman is the Christian Church, and also Europe/Europa, the dragon would be the Muslim serpent shown on this page that attacks the woman and her child (the U.S.).
Judaism: 14.9 million
Interpretation: Corresponds to Revelation 14, about the 144,000 who are descended from the tribes of Israel.
