One observation of mine is that countries of the world seem to have meaningful shapes, that have a connection to that country's role in history. For example, Egypt looks somewhat like a pyramid, but with only one sloping side. Egypt, of course, is where the pyramids are located.
England looks like a pick-axe, with the handle of the pick-axe in Scotland.
This may be connected with England's history of creating (and later losing) a great empire, and in the process of doing so spreading its English law and political system around the world, making the world a better place. In the process of doing this empire-building, the pick-axe was used on many nations, including stopping the tyrants: Hitler and Napoleon, for example. On the negative side, however, Ireland looks like the pick-axe has taken a chunk out of it (Northern Ireland).
Greece looks like the flames of a fire, with the base of the fire on the northern border.
I think the fire represents the birth of Western Civilization in Greece.
Norway looks somewhat like a fish, and Sweden looks a bit like the mouth of a dragon. This may relate to the Vikings in the past being from these countries.
Japan resembles a dragon or serpent; the dragon is important in Japanese and Chinese mythology. And Japan was an angry fire-breathing dragon during World War 2, although Japan is a peaceful country and a U.S. allie today. Mexico resembles a whale, and Cuba looks like a shark.
As for the U.S., if you look at it upside down, it sort of looks like an anteater. The tip of the anteater's snout is in Maine, and Florida is one of it's ears. This may relate to this country being created by millions of immigrants, the "ants" the anteater ingests. And Alaska looks a bit like Abraham Lincoln with the Aleutian Islands his beard.
The Netherlands sort of looks like a fish-hook; this may relate to it historically being a sea power.
Russia sort of resembles an animal with its legs in the Caucasus Mountains and near Japan, but this beast does not have a head; Belarus will give the beast a head if it unites with Russia as is planned. Expect a smarter and angrier Russia if it unites with Belarus. See the page on Russia for more on Russia's future. And note that possible Antichrist Russian President Putin is from St. Petersburg, and the Antichrist in the Book of Daniel 7:8 is called the "little horn", and St. Petersburg would be the base of this little horn of this beast.
As I discuss on the page on the War against Terrorism, the Moslem terrorist dragon is like the Hydra that Hercules battled in Greek mythology. The Hydra kept growing a new head each time one was cut off by Hercules. Indonesia is where a new head of the Moslem terrorist dragon has grown. And Indonesia's shape resembles the Hydra. Note that the Hydra mythology also relates to AIDS disease.
Another Muslim country, Pakistan, resembles a dinosaur. I think this is because Pakistan is the first Muslim country to develop nuclear weapons. Pakistan now has a good leader who has been a great help to the U.S. in the War on Terrorism, but if Muslim radicals ever come to power in Pakistan, then that could be a big problem. Dr. Khan of Pakistan who developed the ABomb for Pakistan allegedly also gave it away or sold it to countries such as Iran and North Korea that sponsor terrorism.
Islam is the serpent: my time intervals page discusses the significance of the number 630: Mohammed entered Mecca in 630 A.D., and the number 630 is connected with Satanic power, where in Greek, the language of the New Testament and the Book of Revelation, each letter is also a number, and the word "serpent" totals 630. So Mohammed entering Mecca in 630 connects Islam with Satanic power, the serpent. Over the 100 years following 630 A.D, Islam then stretched from Arabia across North Africa like a serpent, invading Spain and not being stopped until 732 A.D. in France. In this case the growth of Islam resembles a serpent because Islam is the serpent.
In the U.S., the island of Manhattan in New York City resembles the shape of the state of Israel, this relates to New York City being a religious center with two great Christian cathedrals, and also I think it will be the New Jerusalem as I discuss on this page, with Israel being the place of origin of Judaism and Christianity and the location of Jerusalem.
In Africa, Uganda sort of looks like a human skull, which may relate to Death in that the deadly Ebola disease possibly originates there, and AIDS being out of control there.
As for the U.S. Virgin Islands, St Thomas looks like a vicious fish, and St. Croix looks like a whale. In the 1700s St. Thomas was a hangout for pirates.
My point is that the countries having meaningful shapes is an indication that we are software in a computer--the universe and this earth and human history are software. It is a holographic type of virtual reality software, where the small reflects the large, events on earth are reflected in events in the stars-- which is why astrology works. If we are all software, maybe angels are software programmers, and the Devil is in charge of software test. If we are all software, then it also can explain psychic phenomena that seem to break the laws of physics-- you can create any world you want to with virtual reality software.
Another area to consider is world population which reached 6 billion in 1999. I would expect an important milestone will be when it reaches 6.66 billion in 2008. A critical date for world events? Also considered in this site are patterns of geographic coordinates.
